Father Christmas has bagged a bargain

My daughter has wanted a TV in her room for years and we have always said 'no', but this year we thought that if she asked Father Christmas he might get one for her. A few months ago I saw a TV/DVD combi for £99 in a local store. We picked it up and it is safely hidden away until Father Christmas delivers the presents. Today we went back in the store and the same TV is now £129. I know prices have gone up but that seems a huge increase, I'm just glad we bought it in advance. Do you buy in advance ?

  3. Hi Linzi, I'm like you I always buy in advance. I buy bits and pieces throughout the year for birthdays and Christmas. Its to hectic and expensive to get everything in December.
Hi Ms Everyday, I always like to get things sorted early. I've been ribbed by people before as they find it way too organised but I always have the last laugh !!

  4. Great buy! I do buy in advance for Christmas and have just now started for this year. It saves my money and my sanity. I loathe both shopping and large crowds of people. Shopping on Black Friday (the day after Thanksgiving here) would be my idea of a nightmare!
