Hi Folks. I have failed and have had to pay out some money. The blame is not all mine but nevertheless I have had to part with money for a school trip. My daughter gave me a letter ( that she'd had for a few days ! ) saying the money should have been paid by 28.9.12. I have had to send a cheque up to school today quick smart so she has a place on the trip next summer. Other than that I haven't spent anything , is it cheating if I turn a blind eye to the school trip money ?
No you have NOT failed! Well, except that you missed the end of September deadline - but your DD should have given you the letter earlier, shouldn't she??!!
ReplyDeleteI had to spend out on a cup of coffee in a shop today - someone really needed to talk, and the only place we could meet was 7 miles away, midway between our homes, and it was raining, so we had to go inside, and not sit on a park bench.
Both of these situations were for the benefit of others, so I don't think that's 'cheating'
I'll ignore your spend if you ignore mine!!!
Will do Angela, lets not say anymore about it xx
DeleteI agree, this was unavoidable.
ReplyDeleteI think stopoctober should be taken in context of unnecessary spending. We are all going to spend this month..what is important is how much is spent and on what, needs or wants?
Tomorrow is a new day.

Shes off to Wales on an outward bound activity holiday.
DeleteYou haven't failed, or cheated, and shouldn't feel as if you have, as you're not accountable to anyone in blogland.
