My daughter has wanted a TV in her room for years and we have always said 'no', but this year we thought that if she asked Father Christmas he might get one for her. A few months ago I saw a TV/DVD combi for £99 in a local store. We picked it up and it is safely hidden away until Father Christmas delivers the presents. Today we went back in the store and the same TV is now £129. I know prices have gone up but that seems a huge increase, I'm just glad we bought it in advance. Do you buy in advance ?
Its crazy the way prices are just going up all the time!! I always keep my eye out for things to buy in advance for birthdays/christmas as I have 5 littleones to buy for,I always buy lots in the boxing day sales and store for the year ahead....good you got the tv when you did will no doubt only go up and up and up before xmas!! xx
ReplyDeleteThats great christmas sorted & great that you got a good price reduction too. It pays to get things early x
ReplyDeleteHi Linzi, I'm like you I always buy in advance. I buy bits and pieces throughout the year for birthdays and Christmas. Its to hectic and expensive to get everything in December.
ReplyDeleteHi Ms Everyday, I always like to get things sorted early. I've been ribbed by people before as they find it way too organised but I always have the last laugh !!
Great buy! I do buy in advance for Christmas and have just now started for this year. It saves my money and my sanity. I loathe both shopping and large crowds of people. Shopping on Black Friday (the day after Thanksgiving here) would be my idea of a nightmare!
ReplyDeleteHi Mary, I have been in America twice on Black Friday and boy is it busy ! I have'nt seen anything like it in the UK. Thanks for your comment
